Admission Process

In selecting students for admission only the academic record is taken into consideration. For detailed information regarding rules and procedures of admission enquiry may be made at the college office and website ( immediately after the publication of the results of Higher Secondary Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or Equivalent. All applications for admission must be made in the prescribed forms available online. Admission forms duly filled in are to be submitted online within the stipulated date and time.

Forms not properly filled in will automatically be rejected. Merit list will be duly notified online and selected applicants are directed to pay the necessary charges on a specified date, failing which the claims for admission shall be forfeited.

All admissions are treated provisional. The college reserves the right of cancelling any admission which may appear forged or nonconforming to admission rules of the college and the Kazi Nazrul University.

Online Admission Procedure

STEP ONE: Eligible candidates whose names have been incorporated in the merit list are directed to obtain Admission form from his/her own portal. Pay the admission fees online and save a copy of the auto generated admission fees payment challan to be produced on the day of document verification.

STEP TWO: Verification/Counselling as per Specified Date of Admission: Bring all mentioned original documents and produce the same along with duly filled in admission form and enclosures before the authorised person of the college for verification and approval. After verification if it is found correct and authentic the concerned students will be permitted to get admission.

Documents Required: Candidates are directed to keep ready his/her admission form by signing with date and affixing photograph on his/her application form and be enclosed
(i) Xerox copies of H.S Mark sheet and Admit Card
(ii) Xerox copy of Madhyamik Admit Card/Certificate as proof of date of birth
(iii) Xerox copy of  School Leaving Certificate
(iv) Student copy of auto generated admission fees payment challan
(v) Xerox Copy of Caste Certificate (if applicable)

Admission Cancelation Policy: Admission can be cancelled within one month of date of closure of admission process by submitting a written application (hard copy only) to the college office with necessary supporting documents.

Refund Policy: The college follows the University Grants Commission's Notice on 'Refund of Fees and Non Retention of Original Certificates' dated October, 2018 regarding refund of fees due to cancelation of admission.
