Affilation and Recognisations

Deshabandhu Mahavidyalaya, established in the year1973 is affiliated to the Kazi Nazrul University is a NAAC accredited B Grade College with CGPA of 2.40 (3rd Cycle of accreditation). The college is included under section 2(f) and 12(B) of the U.G.C. Act. Hence, the institution is eligible to receive and disburse UGC authorised, as well as state recognised fundings. The college is privileged to receive Tax Exemption under Section 12A of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The institution is also covered under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act providing tax incentives to individuals contributing for the academic development of the college.
