In order to encourage the students belonging from financially weaker families, college used to provide various types of Govt. and Non Govt. Scholarships to the students.

Kanyashree Prakalpa

Kanyashree is an initiative taken by the Government of West Bengal to improve the life and the status of the girls by helping economically backward families with cash so that families do not arrange the marriage of their girl child before eighteen years because of economic problem. The purpose of this initiative is to uplift those girls who are from poor families and thus can't pursue higher studies due to tough economic conditions. It has been given international recognition by the United Nations Department of International Development and the UNICEF.

Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship

With a view to assisting the meritorious students belonging to economically backward families in the State of West Bengal to pursue higher studies, the Government of West Bengal introduces this scheme of giving scholarships at different levels of higher studies, at educational institutions based in West Bengal. The Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme has been thoroughly revamped in the year 2016 to cover more number of students as well as to enhance the scholarship amounts significantly

Post-Matric Scholarship

Post-Matric scholarship initiated by the Department of Tribal Development and the Backward Classes Welfare Department of West Bengal enables students from the SC/ST and OBC categories to pursue their education.

Institutional Scholarship

Apart from the Govt. Scholarship, college also provide financial assistance to needy students by waiving tuition and/or other fees partially / fully. Preference is given to those who are not provided with any kind of Govt. Scholarship. This scholarship / financial assistance is fully funded by college authority.
